New TS Pulleys
« on: 01 Nov 2012 at 04:20 »
Hi Guys,

I've finally finished making pulleys to suit my 1924 TS with a two speed gearbox.

They are made from a solid steel billet and some have been nickel plated.

The costs are AU$145 for unplated and AU$190 for polished and plated +GST if applicable and delivery.

If you are interested in purchasing please send me a message or give me a call.
I'm located in Sydney if anyone wants to have a look at them.

Thanks for being patient

Can you tell me what effective belt diameter ?  As I understand it the pulley and sprocket should be the same diameter, I'll check the sprocket diameter on my gearbox tomorrow.  My bike is a 1914 with a 1919 engine so who knows whats right !

Chris,

The effective belt diameter is 154mm. To get this figure I placed the belt on the pulley and measured the outside diameter (172mm), I then subtracted the belt thickness and my result is 154, same as my roller pitch diameter of my sprocket. I hope this helps.

Cheers
Stephen

Sorry, but my sprocket is less than 5" PCD so your pulley would be too big.  What cross section ( number ) belt are you running ?

Hi Stephen,

As I just bought a TS 25 I´m interested in your offered pulley. Is it still available? and can you send it to Austria?

Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Yes I have a few pulleys left. If you would like to contact me directly at (Stephen@bigjack.net.au) I can tell you the total cost which includes postage.

I have sold quite a few already without any complaints!

Regards
Stephen
