Hi everybody
Nearing the end of rebuilding a brutalised Endeavour engine.
Can anyone tell me the cold tappet clearance please
Regards

The very nice Dave Richmond tells me that I should use 4 thou for the inlet and 6 thou for the exhaust.
He also warned me about the task challenging my tool box and he was of course quite right!  I slimmed a couple of spanners with my trusty angle grinder and once I had loosened the cam follower guide clamp the swearing diminished sharply.  REMEMBER to retighten the afore-said clamp !!
