EW 350 1926
« on: 29 Mar 2012 at 12:59 »
Dear All,

Im still searching for a rear wheel for my EW 1926. The EW I bought was together with wrong (earlier) wheel (attached photograph). Does anyone know this wheel and is ready for an exchange?

Regards
Andreas

Andreas,

The CW and the OB used a sprocket and dummy-belt rim brake. Probably also the last of the 4hp models that had all-chain transmission. But the dummy-belt rim brake seems too large in diameter. The sprocket looks too small, and was invariably spoked rather than having lightening holes.

G'day Andreas
I think if you cleaned the hub of your wheel you will find "BSA".
Howard.
