Trouble Starting 600 E32
« on: 05 Feb 2012 at 01:41 »
I have just purchased a 1932 600cc E32 and am struggling with starting it. The bike came from JG Gerdes in the Netherlands. It was originally for sale on Yesterdays site in Holland.

Can anybody help with the correct starting procedure for a consistent fire-up?

When I do get the bike running, it runs very rich at idle and the plugs foul quickly. I have adjusted the float level which seems to have helped. I have also set the needle at its lowest setting. The main jet has 120 stamped on it. Is there anything else I should be looking at? The spark plugs are NGK AB-6.
