Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Hello
Can I see the parts list
without joining
Have no credit card to pay membership
the club

Greetings from tom

David Lawrence

Dear Tom,
Concerning joining the London Douglas Club, we accept credit cards from non UK members because it saves you banking charges, however, should you wish to join we do accept direct bank drafts, all we ask is that they are drawn in sterling so as to avoid The Club paying all the charges. We also allow non UK members to pay three years at a time again to avoid you paying charges every year. The fee is only £15-00 sterling per year for which you get our magazine, Club members assistance in addition to this Forum, archive material  and access to our spares services. The spares system is run by the Club for the benefit of members, we work on low profit margins in an attempt to keep the price of rebuilding bikes as low as practicable. If you choose to join us we would make you very welcome and the guys running the Pre 1945 spares would supply you with a list of available spares.
Sorry I cannot help with your oil pump question, I am sure you well get an answer from one or more of the more knowledgable members of the Forum!
Should you be interested please contact our membership secretary Mr Reg Holmes whose Club email address is reg.holmes@blueyonder.co.uk
Hope to see your name in our membership list in the future. Dave (treasurer LDMCC.)

Quote from: David...Club members assistance in addition to this Forum...

Just to clarify, the London Douglas Motor Cycle Club (LDMCC) and this Forum (Douglas Motorcycle Forum, or DMF) are not related except by a common interest in Douglas motorcycles. You do not need to join the LDMCC to participate in the DMF, nor does joining (regeristering) in this forum make you a member of the LDMCC.  The DMF is an additional resource for Douglas enthusiusts worldwide.

Thank you for your reply david and doug
I understand how I can join
will ask the bank if I can transfer in pounds.

Can I see the parts lists on the Internet?
or is this on paper by mail?

Greetings from tom

Hi Tom,

By now you will probably have joined the LDMCC and have accessed the parts list through the website. If you have not then this is to let you know that upon joining the club and then registering to use the website you would have access to the spares lists. The lists do not necessarily reflect actual stock availability so that you may need to enquire about such or might receive an advisory note where something is out of stock.

Hi Tom,

Sorry you had trouble joining the club. One day maybe we'll have something like Paypal in place etc..

Anyway, I'm glad you got the bits you needed.
