Douglas 500-600cc side valve engine drawing
« on: 04 Nov 2011 at 20:58 »
Thanks very much to rossco (Phil) for sending in this drawing and note.

I dug out a sectioned drawing of the 500cc and 600cc side valve engine. It may help someone with problems of knowing what parts they are missing. I think this drawing covers approx 1928 to 1933, same as my D33 but slightly different heads. Hope it may be of help to someone.

Hi Dave
It looks very much like the S5 or 6 (including T5 or 6) 1930 to 33.
Regards

Martin

Dave - except for the heads & spark plug placement, it looks just like the Mastiff I'm working on.
