Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Can anyone point me to an image of a >>-B-U-R-G-E-S-S-> silencer logo, as found on Mark pipes? Or a bike with original silencers that I could look at closest to Nottingham, UK?

The best I've managed is an image from Bonhams (I don't think they're for a Douglas - they have flared ends):

The pipes I've found so far amongst my own boxes of parts have been polished too much and in places the lettering is difficult to make out in detail.

I'm thinking of getting a friend to replicate a pair of silencers and thought we might have a go at including the original logo.

Hi raif,
I have a few silencers where the <<BURGESS>> trade mark is not too worn, if you haven't already obtained the info you need I can photo mine and also do you a " brass" rubbing.

Dave,

That would be great. I'd appreciate both.

David Lawrence

OK raif will do, will scan the tracing and send both direct to your home email, if the reproduction via scanning isn't too good will send them to your home address, can get this from the Club records if I need it
