Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Hi all
The International West Kent Run organised by the West Kent Section of The VMCC is held each August based in the grounds of a Priory near Maidstone in Kent. Truly international with entries limited to 350 machines from all over Europe there is always a strong Douglas entry. The event takes place over the best part of a week with first arrivals on Thursday with social runs daily through to Tuesday the following week. The welcoming reception takes place on Friday evening followed by the main event Run around the Kent countryside on Saturday with a choice of approx 70 mile or 100 mile routes. The Run dinner is held on Saturday night with music and dancing. On Sunday the public are welcomed to the concours display of bikes that have taken part in the Run, an auto-jumble, parade of Clubs and other attractions. The LDMCC had a Club stand with a good display of machines. Successfully completing the Run this year were two Dragonflys, a Comp, a Mk lV Sports a Mk V, a 1914 2.3/4hp, a 1914 3.1/2hp and my 150cc Douglas Bantam.
Best in Show this year was Nick Pearce's beautifully restored 3.1/2 hp Douglas of 1914. This success has been lovingly entered on You Tube by our friend Ralph Boreham. You can find this entry under the title of Nickie & Duggie in The West Kent Run 2011. or click on this
