T35 frames.........
« on: 15 Oct 2010 at 03:55 »
G'day all
A friend and I purchased a large job lot of parts a couple of weeks ago and took it straight down to his storage shed at night so did not really get a good look at what we have bought but I did see a few things of interest to this forum.
Any interest in a couple of T35 frames, one is complete with swingarm and the other not.
The frame without swingarm has been repaired at some stage....signs of brazing!
Also available are at least 3 rear carriers for these models. Could be other parts available but at this stage we have not had time to sort through it all.
I will come back with photos and frame numbers ASAP.
Howard.

G'day all
Here are some photos of the couple of frames we have and also the rear carriers.
The frame with swing arm has the number  T35S2977
The other less complete frame is number T35/S/4375/S.
I notice 2 different styles of rear carrier....one has a few more brackets fitted to it.
Any interest?
Howard.

Hi Howard
The Sub frame with the extra brackets looks like it came from a Mk3 Sports. As the brackets hold the Sports tool boxes.
Hope this helps
Regards

Martin

Hi Howard,
As Martin says, the subframe with the extra brackets is from the Mark 3 Sports - it also has the brackets that support the high level silencers, and the holes in the rear loop are higher to match the narrower valance on the sports 'guards. The frame without a swinging arm is the one from the Mark 3 Sports as it has no brackets for a central toolbox.
                             Regards,
                                        Eddie.

G'day all
Many thanks for the identifications.
I have been asked what prices.......
Frame with swingarm =$300.
Frame without swingarm = $75.
Subframes =$50 each
All "as is" condition.
I may be able to get an item up to Bendigo Swap if anyone is interested.
We also have a Tillbrook "Tom Thumb" sidecar minus wheel and guard at $300.
We will also have a large collection of parts from mid teens to 1950's......look us up at Bendigo.
Thanks for the opportunity.........
Howard.

G'day all
Both frames are now sold as well as the Sports subframe.
We will be on site 2067 at Bendigo Swapmeet this weekend although Sunday will not be a full day, we are returning to Tasmania Sunday evening.
I am taking the other 2 Douglas subframes and a van load of early motorcycle stuff from Manx Norton tacho to acetylene lamps and everything in between.
