« on: 20 Sep 2010 at 21:38 »
Hello,I am not an owner of an Douglas, but a friend of my have a Douglas and it stands in an old barn.He like to know what kind of bike this?
He likes to know which year and model. Frame MF17xxx and engine YE17xxx.
In the future he want to restore it and need also parts for this bike, that's why he needs to know the model.
At the moment I can't put in a photo, maybe in the future.
Any help would be fine.
The Dutchman.

It would be 350cc EW (EW350) of circa 1926. You can find pictures of 350EWs in the photo gallery here:

Thanks Doug, now we can search for the parts we need.
Is there a partlist of this model?
I like to know the model of the magdyno and that's the first thing I am looking for.
Somebody have this for sale?
By the way, the photos are very nice of the Douglas.
The dutchman.

Hi dutchman.
It might be worth while joining the London Douglas Motorcycle club, the international club for Douglas enthusiasts.
They have have a spares scheme for both pre and post 1945 machines. It has a bi- monthly magazine which includes a section for advertising.
You can find membership details on this link. http://www.douglasmcc.co.uk/index.php?option=com_performs&formid=1&Itemid=39
