Final few TS parts required
« on: 08 Jul 2010 at 11:32 »
Hi all,

Can anyone help with the final few pieces to the puzzle?
I finally got my rusty TS started last weekend (it went POP twice) one for each cylinder, that's counted as starting isn't it?
I'm after a fuel and oil cap for the tank and a maggy gear (mine has a couple of teeth on it)
Also after any front brake parts you may have. I have a brass casting of the stirrup part.

Attached a photo from a few months ago, I have remade the exhaust so it doesn't hang down so far.

Cheers, Macka

I would also be interested in an original usable Petrol tank with a bit of paint on it if anyone has one laying around.

Thanks again Macka.

Hi Macka
I have made up tank caps myself, it really isn't that difficult. Any machinist should be able to make them up for you without costing a fortune. I'll ask a mate about the maggy gear.
Cheers, Graeme
