Douglas lapel badge....1920's
« on: 25 Jun 2010 at 11:41 »
G'day all
I bought on eBay a Douglas lapel badge, looks to be a 1920's production.
Unfortunately it is minus it's original ribbon......does anyone know where I could find the right sort of ribbon to replace it?
Howard.

I have found an early Douglas add that has the correct Tartan , although I'm sure there are more learned souls on this site that would point you to a more comprehensive source

Here is the picture I found:

cheers michael

p.s. there are many sites that I found that produce Scottish tartans. it was more the point that you find the correct tartan. there seems to be an amazing array of types of family tartans i.e. hunting etc,
