Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Finally I gave up,..second major change to my EW and thrid attempt to post this!

Hi,

:B :B :B :B

yes finally I replaced my frontwheel *) caused by nonfunctional brake and wobbling drum. See pictures (if this will work... grace to Dave)

  :B :B :B :B

This is the second major change to my EW, first I replaced the Carb by an Amal 4/002 with twist grip.

  :B :B :B :B

(but I stored the original parts safely away, and in 30 min I can install the original wheel for show)

But now it's fun to drive around and really save too.... even in modern city traffic and superb on small roads at hillside....

Happy driving

Rudolf,

No wonder it works well, look at the size of that brake lever compared to the size of the brake drum!
