There is another 2.75 up on ebay at the moment (listed as an EW) - would need lots of work to get it on the road - already up to almost $7K. Only a year or so ago that is what you would expect to pay for a good running one. I think I might have to re-evaluate insurance based on the numbers we are seeing. Seems to me that all girder fork bikes are going in the same direction ! 

Mind you - they are a great machine and have probably been undervalued for years - I jumped on mine for a run up and down the road this morning after not riding it for a few months - always a big grin afterwards.

Just as a matter of interest there is a 1927 EW, it looks in running order, on British e-bay starting price £4000. Not sure what that is in $A,
