Amal Carb Parts for 1927 EW350
« on: 05 May 2009 at 09:56 »
After a surprisingly long search I've finally obtained most of an Amal 274/012R Carburettor to replace (temporarily) the tired Amac:

Hope it fits.

The parts missing are.  Bellmouth, Cable adjusters, Cap retaining spring clip, Throttle Spring and Inlet coupling collar.

Any help in locating these parts, together with any information on jet sizes would be much appreciated.

Regards

Steve

Hello Steve, If you haven't had any luck with the bits you require I will rattle my parts box for most of the bits> Will try to get out to the shed and drop the bowl off my B29 and see what jet and jet holder is on mine It might not be perfect for yours but will be a starting point. Any way send me a reply by forum or personal message.
regards Alan

Hello Steve, As per your personal message have the remaining parts you require ready for postage. On removing the jet from my B29 the main jet is a 130 but in my H3 the jet is a 150. So if the numbers are bigger and the jet size gets smaller that figures as I remember the B29 being a little heavy on fuel. Anyway anyone with further info please comment????????????  regards Alan
