Douglas T6 Carburettor 1930
« on: 01 Mar 2009 at 15:58 »
Hej all.
I need help about my carburettor for my T6
My carburettor are in poor condition,- but I am able to get another from a Friend,- but the numbers are different.
The present number is 5/104/S  HL 309
The new number is 5/116/S   FI 1971
Can I use the new number to replace the old carburettor,- what is the different between them?
Kind regards Edin DK

Edin,

According to an 1930 Amal handbook, the 5/116/S model is the one made for Douglas. I have not been able to find a listing for the 5/104/S yet.
