Where the Rubber Hits the Road
« on: 09 May 2009 at 08:53 »
Hello All, On the Sunday arv of the May Day long weekend over 20 enthusiasts from the Christian Motorcyclists Association called on me to view and learn all about the history of Doug Motor Cycles and view other non Doug treasures that abound through out my place. On leaving the leader of the group presented my with a copy of their May news letter and Riding With Purpose another booklet about their club.

Now having a website I decided to check out some more info and as the title of this topic and what should be under this topic is what I assume to be a 4 hp Doug with chair and family> My question is this one of the Gullick Machines or who is the owner ????????

Forum CMA Web Forum    www.cmaaus.org/qld/      regards Alan

Yes Sorry Ian it was the Qld website and I have altered it but all attempts to bring up the item today have failed. The cycle in question was I believe a 4 hp with a metal side car I thought Graeme's has a wicker one.  Sorry maybe there is a problem with the website as I can't access the picture.  Alan

Yes indeed Alan - my 3 1/2 has a wicker sidecar, so definitely not me! Would be interesting to know whose it is though - there can't be too many 4hp outfits around.

Yes well, it turns out the picture is an English one used with permission from TELit in Edinborough. Managed to access the pic by opening the web page and below the club officials and above the Qld area temps  click on the subject when it appears. I also notice the other cycle is a Doug????  Alan
