Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Correct T35 Tank Transfer Colour?

I have decided to tidy up the paint on my '47 T35 and need some advice. The bike came to me painted all black, fenders, tank, tool box, frame, etc. The tank transfers came in gold with no outlining. I seem to recall hearing that all black was a factory colour option and would prefer to leave it that way. Is that true? If so, what would be the correct "Douglas" transfer colour/combination. The LDMCC lists a number of choices, but none are simply gold.

Also, I've searched our site and Doug mentioned in a previous post that the same transfer was used on the rear fender above the tail-light. Is that transfer the exact same size as the tank transfer? If not, then can anyone give me at least one of the critical dimensions?

It's minus 4 degrees Celsius here with 30 cm of snow on the ground and a ton of salt on the roads. They're calling for freezing rain later this afternoon. I can't wait for spring!

Happy New Year all.

41 degrees? Celsius? That's perfect. Let's split the difference.
