Please find a photo of my comp.
Comp replica / special to be more precise, The only part which is original is the gear box.
All other parts have been made / modified or auto jumble find which suited.
I have ridden the bike in pre 65 trials in the past, but mainly use it on the road these days.
Its great fun to ride although can be a bit hairy at higher speed with the trials tyres.
I would like to thank all the LDMCC members who helped with the build of this bike, especially Eddie with his encouragement and technical knowledge.

Hi looks great ! so how do you make a standard frame into a comp frame or did you start from scratch Regards Daren

Darren
It takes a special engineer who can create a frame with the head stock and foot peg brackets from an old damaged frame.
Unfortunately thats not me. I wish it was!
I know there was a lot of tube bending, turning and milling. And probably swearing and cursing as well.
I wont give out any names as its not a commercial enterprise, just an engineer friend in his back garden.
The rest of the bike is basically Dougie but with some slight modification.

Hi Martin, nice to see your Comp.

I'm right with you, mine's a hoot on the road and very nimble. A bit scary at 50+ on rough roads because the forks are so stiff, and the back end, well, stiffer. That's some sprocket you have on the back there . . .

Cheers,

Neil
