Douglas 1930 S6 bolts
« on: 15 Apr 2008 at 08:48 »
Hi
Can any one tell me the size and thread of the inlet manifold bolts at the head end on my !930 S6 restoration?

Also the same for the four ( two & two) of the timing chest retaining nuts.

A fellow Douglas enthusiast has started a Douglas nut and bolt listing to which this will be added.  Is there such a list anywhere else or should I persuad him to post ti here?

Michael

Hi Michael
I have previously listed the threads used on 2.3/4hp models. Originally published in The New Conrod, this can be seen on the Forum in the "Reference" section under "Douglas Motorcycle Technical Articles" and is listed as "Fasteners and Threads used on 2.3/4 hp Douglas Models from 1910 to 1926". From the updating of personal knowledge and experience I am aware that some amendments are now needed to this listing and I will give it some attention as time permits.   Chris.

Find the list Chris refers to here
