The Double fly came about following discussion with Don Brown about his Dragonfour special. After questioning why he did this and why he did that, it was suggested that if I thought I could do better - then I should get on with it! This being the result of accepting that challenge. It is basically a Dragonfly with a four cylinder engine produced by welding together 2 Mark series engines and connecting the cranks with a toothed belt drive. The wheels and brakes - from a late 70's Yamaha - are fitted because Douglas units cause enough excitement trying to hold back the performance and weight of just one engine!
