PLUS MY GRANDFATHER WAS THE LATE FRANK CHAPMAN WHO LIVED IN RIVERVIEW, DAPPS HILL, KEYNSHAM. HE USED TO TEST DRIVE DOUGLAS AND HAD MANY OF HIS BIKES AT NE TIME. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF HIM AND DO YOU HAVE ANY INFO ABOUT HIM, AS I NEVER MET HIM MYSELF. ALL THE BEST DAVE CHAPMAN

Dave,

I think the museum you mean is the one in Warmley, just north of Kingswood. It is where the Bristol Section of the Douglas Club have their annual Bristol Cavalcade. They have a modest exhibit there year round on Kingswood and the Douglas Works.

Contact info is-

Kingswood Heritage Museum
Tower Lane
Warmley
South Gloucestershire
BS30 8XT
Tel: 0117 960 5664 (answerphone)

If you go to the South Gloucestershire Council page and search "Kingswood Heritage Museum" you should see a link to more info, opening times, etc.

http://www.southglos.gov.uk

The museum does not seem to have their own homepage.
