Gearbox bearings

The bearings on the gearbox shafts on an EW  do they need a puller to to get them off and are the bearings hard to get ?.

yes easy to get same as bearings used in some Bosch alternators I think   You can lever off with two screwdrivers or you can press the gears off the shaft with the bearings But be carefull this can sometimes split the gear through the keyway   Must take care when reassembling gears into case that everthing seats properly and the three pieces go together easily or damage to case may occur    Al
