T35 Petrol Cap
« on: 07 Mar 2007 at 20:51 »
Could anyone help me find a petrol cap for my recently acquired 1947 T35 - I assume looking at the tank filler hole that the cap used on the Douglas actually locates on the inside and somehow  locks on the four studs.

A good photo of the correct cap would be of great help as I have no idea whatsoever what I'm supposed to be looking for - the cap fitted to the bike ( which is clearly wrong) is the bog standard type as fitted to Matchless, Triumph etc through late forties and the fifties.

Thanks (in anticipation) for your assistance,

Matt
