Douglas Posters Required
« on: 12 Oct 2006 at 00:27 »
Hi all,
We wish to produce some  souvenir posters to exhibit and maybe present to rally entrants - who has some quality Douglas posters/pictures/advertisements that they would scan and post here for our use? - Please scan in colour at least A4 size and at 600 dpi.

All contributions will be acknowledged and gratefully received. Please do it now as time is running out.

PS If you don't wish to distribute your prized posters publicly but are prepared to share them for the purposes of the Rally please e-mail the scans to  adcr (at) douglasmotorcycles.net - replace (at) with @ without parenthesis and spaces.

I'll provide a copy of the 1922 Emerson/Douglas poster to exhibit at the rally. An electronic version is shown here:

If anyone needs help converting these to electronic format, cleaning them up, or conservation, let me know as I've been through it with this one.

I also have some miscellaneous Douglas advertising material that might make interesting posters or poster mosaics.

G'day all
I can dig out my copy of the 1923 Douglas advertising blocks and scan for you...may be of interest and you could possibly include on the programme in places. it is an illustrated list of the company's blocks.
Howard.

G'day all
i have scanned a few of the blocks but they are a fair size attachment....it may be better to email them to someone who has access to placing them on the site.
If you email me I will email one at a time....they are over 1m.
