SW25 carburettor.
« on: 20 Aug 2006 at 10:28 »
Hi,
I have an SW Douglas (1925) with an AMAL or AMAC carby (I think) and was wondering if anybody has any information on these? Diagrams or a description of the workings would be handy. Also the tuning of the carby would be useful.

I was also wondering what material it would be made from and if they can be nickel plated ?

Any info would be much appreciated,

Thanks, Glenn

I would kill for one of those ! There should be no problem nickel plating it - have done a few brass carbies with my kit here and they come up nicely.
