I am nearing completion of my 25 cw and I went around to my local water pump shop here in Bathurst and they had one inch leather and neoprene washers in stock. They are used in Southern cross windmills. I bought three leather washers and found that they were thick in the centre and very stiff so I attached an old spindle to the washer and spun it in my cordless drill and used a cutting tool to thin out the inner then soaked the unit in oil to soften the washer. I am about to fit the trio to the bike shortly however all seems on track to do the job.
