Yesterdays obviously thinks the 2.75 hp Douglas is going up in value - they have two for sale at 6500 and 8900 euros !!

Well they only made some 25,000 of the blighters. Do they describe them as 'very rare' to justify the price?  :P

Hi all,
Not everyone will have known about 'Yesterdays' or would have visited their website although I did add a link here some time ago - it's worth a visit just to have a look at their showroom via the 360 degree 'panoview' movie on the home-page - it appears as much an up-class museum as a showroom.

I thought it worthwhile to bring the current Douglas photos over - here's the 1921 2 HP Model WD 21 offered for 6.500 (about $A 11600) - the description refers to the petrol tank being of a slightly older type of Douglas and to it having "an interesting proprietary exhaust system".

...and a view of it's 'power-plant'

This is the 1922 2 HP Model WD 22 which can be yours for 8.900 (almost $A 15000 plus packing and freight from the Netherlands :!:) - this is said to be "nicely restored" and there cannot be much argument about that judging from the photos.

...and a view of it's 'power-plant'

Some day I would like to add a 2-3/4hp to the menagerie, but not at those prices! Still they look complete and would save years and years of searching for parts.

Doug - you should buy one when you are here for the Douglas rally !! Absolute top dollar for a TS would be about $8K Australian (maybe $6K US) here - the only ones much more would be pre-1918 veterans.
