Brake backing plate for 1920's drums
« on: 22 Dec 2005 at 21:10 »
I am having problems with one of the backing plates for my OC which has the 8 inch self servoing drums. Does anyone have a good one they would be willing to part with ?

Also, I am missing one of the actuating "cams" for the brake band if someone has a spare of those as well.

One I have is very corroded and one of the adjusting screws is broken off. We are very worried that heating it or trying to remove will cause the whole thing to fall apart !!

PS - I also need an actuating cam for one of the brake bands and suitable levers to fit.
