Repainting B23 4hp tank
« on: 01 Feb 2006 at 05:33 »
I caught up with Ian at the Canberra VVMC meet last weekend.  I am now inspired to restore my B23 4 hp for the next Girder Fork rally in Cooma.

Would anyone know of where I could get the petrol tank repainted and sign written. It has a leak at the tube that goes through the tank for the gear change mechanism the petrol leak has slowly wrecked the paintwork to say nothing of posing a fire hazard.  I assume that I can just solder up the leak.   Wilf

Wilf, I will send you details in a PM of who does my tanks - you have met him on one of our runs I thing. He may want to take it on. Does and absolutely beautiful job and is a Douglas nut.
