Douglas 350 1915-23 wanted
« on: 13 Jan 2006 at 00:13 »
Hello all ,  I am interested in buying a Douglas 350 from around 1915 to 1923. At this stage I would really appreciate some advice as to prices and what to look for in these models. Prices in Australian dollars would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Cheers Michael

P.S. I would also like to buy a scale model of a 350 Douglas as well. There was a mob doing these models in England , but I've lost contact with them ,  P.C. crashed :(  Any help on this subject would also be appreciated.

There is a 1925 Douglas for sale in Melbourne at  present. Its a 1925 TS in original 'as found'. Looks quite complete apart from lighting and front brake and requires full restoration. The owner is looking for in excess of $5k Australian dollar. It does come with new Dunlop tyres ( purchased a long time ago). In my opinion the price is excessive

Thanks Pryfield! Do you have any contact with the person in question?
$5000 does sound too much , I'd still like to see what they have to offer.

thanks again.

cheers Michael

Michael, Still working on it. Do you have any email access. I have a couple of photos of the bike. It is located in Chadstone. I do not have complete address or the chaps name (first name Ken). I can put you in touch with my daughter who lives in Chadstone and has been to Ken's house. She can show you where the bike is - cheers Nev
