I am pretty desperate for a rear cylinder for my veteran Douglas 1917 2 3/4hp "W" model.   I there is anyone who may have one of these that can be re-sleeved or know where I may find one I would be very pleased for the help.  I have a number of engine parts that I can exchange such as matching crankcases, conrods, crankshaft, flywheel etc. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

now starting on the clutch side

here are all the parts I have...what is missing???

I m sure there is a brass ring with balls , thrust bearing on the clutch throwout arm??   could somebody take a picture and some measures...I have the ball race dia..as there is a track around the clutch arm  1/8 balls???

there must be a thrust  plate on the  clutch side of the thrust bearing..  picture and sizes would help...

the sheet iron plate that is screwed to the back of the flywheel has a flange on the inside...and it is cutting into the clutch fibre...looks like this means the fibre inner dia is too small???

the outside washer with the ears on..has some little flanges...are these necessary??  mine are broken off on one side...about half of it.....

must be something under the springs inside the flywheel???  what does it look like???

and the nut to hold it all on...what does that look like???

the outer plate that holds the springs...what does that look like???

thanks heaps for any help
