I am pretty desperate for a rear cylinder for my veteran Douglas 1917 2 3/4hp "W" model.   I there is anyone who may have one of these that can be re-sleeved or know where I may find one I would be very pleased for the help.  I have a number of engine parts that I can exchange such as matching crankcases, conrods, crankshaft, flywheel etc. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

Can anybody help me to source an oil seal for the clutch thrust bearing on my Fly?  I have tried all the obvious places and no-one has the seal which is stamped A960979A. This is believed to be a Chicago Rawhide seal number.  Better still, and even more unlikely, has anybody got one?

Try the LDMCC spares scheme - they used to stock them. Very few bearing stockists list them - they are an odd impreial O.D.. The 30mm bore is not a problem, but you may need to make a reducing sleeve for the clutch spigot if the LDMCC can't help with the genuine article.

If the part you are after is part number 21962 - clutch spigot oil seal (plate 12 in the Dragonfly spares book) - then yes the club does have them in stock. If you are a club member then email the club's post war spares secretary.
