Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Introduction

Now it's time to have a look at adding attachments using the drag and drop technique.

New Topic Started

So again we've started a new topic, we've entered in our subject line and we've typed our message in the message box.

Now it's time to add our attachments.

Make Room for File Explorer

So we need to reduce the window down.

Let's say we bring it down to half size and we notice that our forum gets all scrunched up in the middle.

So to make some more space, we go up here to these two little buttons, the collapse restore left panel.

I'll single left click on that and the left panel goes away.

Then I can collapse the right panel and that goes away.

So that gives us room to work.

Select Files to Attach

Now we'll select the files that we want in the same manner.

So we single click on one.

If we want more than one, we just hold down the control key and select the ones we want.

So we've selected four files there and then we grab them by click and hold with the left button.

We click down and hold and we drag it across and we drop it on this attachment bar.

You can see those dotted lines, they're essential for a successful attachment to work.

If they're not there, it probably won't work.

So then I release them and the attachments load up.

Return to Full Screen

While they're loading up, we'll go back to full screen and now the forum's full width and I can bring back the side panels by restoring the left and restoring the right and again.

Review Message and Attachments

We have our message details all entered, we have our attachments loaded, we're ready to post.

So we'll post our message and here's our completed message.

There's our text and our four attachments one, two, three, four.

Conclusion

So which method you use, either the file selection or the drag and drop, they both do the same thing it's just a matter of preference.
