My clutch does not want to operate smoothly and with minimal spring pressure locks up. It looks like the operating cam is pushing onto the top of the pressure plate ( no 1/16 in clearance ) and maybe not enough pressure on the top of the radial bearing as also required in the manual. Would this indicate that the pressure plate requires re-lining to achieve this gap and what is the recommended thickness for the new material.
