Title: Number stamped on head stock.

Hi can anyone tell me what the number is that is hard stamped onto the head stock of my Dragonfly i think it is 7-65 but not sure about the 6
i have tried to attach a photo so if it works have a look and please let me know what you think its for.

Possibly a number stamped on to identify which batch of frames it came from (prior to being paired up with it's engine and gearbox and stamped with matching numbers).

If you read the numbers the other way round it would tie up with Eddie's suggestion. July 1956. Maybe.

Thanks guys i was thinking down them lines myself it would be interesting to find out exactly what they were for but would need some sort of old documentation from Douglas.
