Title: Chain covers for 1927 EW.
Post by: DocAustin on 09 Jun 2018 at 14:34
I am trying to fit the chain cover for a 27 EW.  What does it fix to at the front?  Does anyone have a picture of how the cover is attached at the front behind the clutch.  I have a complete cover but no mounting points at the front.

I´m working on a 1930 H3, an also dismantled bike. So I had to try to find the parts to fix the chainguard to the engine.
I think it should have the same primary chainguard as the EW.

The main fixing is a strap srewed to the 2 longer nuts (top + bottum rear engine studs).

I add a photo of my engine, the strap beside, bottum nut is  a wrong one!
