How do you reattatch the centre stand spring?Its so strong!

With the bike on the stand, and one end of the spring attached to the battery carrier, get a length of 16g steel wire, fold it double, then wrap it round the blade of stout screwdriver (to form a 'T' handle), hook the loop of wire over the free end of the spring and stretch it until it hooks onto the bolt in the side of the stand.
