Look for someone who specialises in old bicycles (the pedal variety) - evidently the 2¾ steering head bearings are the same as those used on 1940's/50's tradesman's bikes.

  Regards,
               Eddie.

hello eddie,
many thanks for the hint.
unfortunately, my preferred bicycle parts dealer is closed for vacation and following renovation.
can someone advise a source that might be willing to mail such bearings??

many thanks

London Douglas club have them on the shelf... I just bought a set upper lower(4 pieces) plus bearings as a complete kit for 40 quid.

Many thanks for this hint.

However, in the meantime I have found someone to make them for me.
Unfortunately, this will cost me much much more.

Best Regards
