Title: Ignition key for a California 1955 Dragonfly
Post by: rogerr on 07 Jul 2012 at 18:32
Hi  I am new to the forum and a new Dragonfly owner . I am in So. California and I have not been able to find anyone here that knows anything about these bikes or that has ever seen one. Are there any Dragonfly's on the West Coast.....?  The bike has been in storage for about 45 years and has all its original parts except the ignition key.......Where can I find one or any hints on making one ?......... HELP !

Hi Roger
The LDMCC has these in stock but because you are in the U.S. there is a problem sending any thing
because of insurance.
The thickness of the metal is 0.042"
The length of the key is 1.257 long
The key Blade is 0.838"
The key blade width 0.429"
The cut in at the bottom is 0.297 0.241" long and 0.102" from bottom.
The instep at bottom is 0.136"
Hope this help you
Regards
Kevin
