Title: Exaust pipes / Silencers for T35 - 90Plus
Post by: douglas1947 on 06 Jul 2015 at 17:50
Has anyone an idea for 90Plus ex pipes and silencers (my one had original high level, I would prefer! But I can also live with normal one.)

Hi

You can buy them from feked.com online, I am pretty sure they are all the same size Mk V and Plus 90.

I have a set of Plus 90 pipes and they are exactly the same size as the header pipes on my 350 comp.

Hi,
Most of the postwar exhaust pipes were bent to the same radius - just the length of the tails varied from model to model. The pipes for the Mk1 and Mk3 machines also had a twist in the bends to suit the wafflebox silencer. Plus series and Dragonfly pipes had a collar at the front end (for the screwed ring on the Pluses, and to retain the copper/asbestos washer on the Dragonfly). The only oddities were the pipes fitted to the Mark 4 Sports machines that took various routes around the pillion footrests.

     Regards,
                   Eddie.

Hi,

the difference to the MK3 to 5 pipes is the ring welded on the pipes for the nut to hold the pipe to the cylinder head.

Armours offers only the standard MK pipes without a ring.

I hope anyone can help.

I`m still looking for pipes for 90+.
They are different to the normal MK pipes, because they have a ring welded on for the exaust nut.

Has anyone an idea?
