Title: EW tyres
Post by: tck on 09 Dec 2013 at 00:33
I always think my EW looks a bit strange with the skinny tyres but the original baloon tyres are unavailable since (WWII?) what a pity
then I saw this http://caterhambikes.com/
and saw the spec for the electric bike
If we could find the tyre supplier we may be onto something....

Hi, tck. Check out the Vee Rubber site in Thailand. www.veerubber.co.th
They list some 26x4 tyres in the bicycle setion under fat bikes.
Hope this is of interest to you.
Regards Colin.

Looking at the Caterham site I see that girder forks are considered cutting edge high tech designs. Should someone tell them?

You stole my thunder! I guess they are aiming at the same sort of person who would own a "bobber" - the really "arty" type bobbers all seem to have girder forks. Form over function wins!
