Noticed this 1913 Douglas for sale on 'Trade me' new Zealand

One of the motors with it is interesting - atmospheric inlet - would be earlier than 1913 ?

Yes well, some of the bits on the complete machine eg flywheel and cylinders are from a 25 as is the 70k number on one motor. i think anyone considering this purchase should check the hubs and belt rim are that for 1913 and any other add ons from the 25.

Yes - agreed. The barrels on the one fitted to the bike don't appear to be veteran either - although that engine number matches.
