Hi all, my Grandad's old Douglas, any idea of the model??

Jeff,

It is either a E31 (a 600cc side valve of 1931) or its successor the E32 or H32 (the 600 and 750cc side valves respectively of 1932.) It would be hard to tell which, as they looked identical.
