The painted tank for the 1936 Aero Douglas had a tank top winged transfer applied for all machines, only difference being identified by cc ie 250cc, 350cc, 500cc and for the 600cc it was only applied up to the start of the M prefix engine.
Does anyone have an original picture of a tank top with the transfer in position.
I have attached some pics below of a photocopy of the 500cc transfer but where is it applied.
