Dragonfly Rack
« on: 17 Feb 2024 at 11:23 »
Apologies but some time ago I was asking if anyone had a diagram or photo of a rear rack for a Dragonfly. I think it was Eddie who emailed one to me but somehow I seem to have lost it!  It was a 'side on' photo with the rack diagram overlaid on the picture I seem to remember?  I can't find anything now in my email folder.

Sorry to be a pain, but can anyone still help?  Many thanks!  Bob

Hello Bob,
Having searched through my poorly catalogued computer files, I have found the drawing that I sent earlier (see attachment). This is for a modified rack that has extra cross tubes and a little more height to prevent anything that is being carried from chafing the mudguard paintwork. The original was intended as a frame for mounting pannier bags rather than a true luggage rack.

  Regards,
               Eddie.

Peter,

If you would like to email the large photo to photos@douglasmotorcycles.net, we can add it to your post.
