HI , anybody know about 3D printing ?  had a strange thought that i may be able to get some bits ( sprocket cover ) also the little pipe holder that bolt to the engine  for a dragonfly 3D printed ?
as its not a stressed part and could be painted might be worth a try ?
hopefully i can get to a 3D printers soon , we have one in Portsmouth with good feed back ,
what do you think ?  or am i wasting my time ?
Thanks Gary

A friend of mine in UK just 3D Printed a wiper motor plastic part for me. He's doing just plastic I guess but it's a real saver for some parts impossible to get.

Just a update , have been emailing Triple Axis , a 3D printing company in Portsmouth ,  sent them some rough sizes and a couple of photos ,
they think i can be done , had a price of "  I would say maybe between £50 and £100 including creating the 3D design, 3D printing and postage. "
I live in Portsmouth so no problem BUT , i think i can borrow a cover its a hours drive each way , or anybody closer could lend me a cover ? or take it to them ,
id be happy to leave a deposit , passport, few grand kids !
but just thinking if it works out and fits ect and  the company keeps the program on file if you ever need that part , so every one wins . also thinking of other parts that may be needed ?
anyway will update as soon as i can
