Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

I am about to embark on a rebuild of a post war Douglas
although I have owned a few before I have over the last few week read all 30 pages of this forum just picking up anything that had a title that covered the mark machines
what amazes me is the number of times the same question comes up and the number of times certain members patiently answers those repeat questions
some times the answer  lies in plain view just on the same page in plain sight.
I have no doubt I will have questions soon but I hope they will be unique questions ,in the meantime my reading marathon has certainly given some interesting information. and saved some long suffering members 'repeat fatigue'.
