1929 Douglas 600cc

In or about 1950 I bought a 1929 Douglas 600cc which was in pieces in a box for 10 shillings, I think. At the same time I got a Cotton 250cc from the same person.  I never had the money to get original parts, so adapted and made what I could. I used it for a number of years. I never had lights except for  a bicycle dynamo on the front tyre which barely gave enough light to see by. I used to disconnect the rear light to help the front one. I wish I had it now. Alan H.
