Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Hi Robert,
Is that a motorcycle engine or a stationary engine? - a photo would be nice - e-mail your pic to the address shown in this topic and we'll attach it to your post.

Looks like the 2-3/4hp engine from 1924/25.  Not sure if 1923 had the 'full fins' over the inlet ports too but no earlier than that I would think.  Looks like the better updraft carb fitted to the all chain-drive CW rather than the side-draft unit fitted to the TS model belt-drive two-speed.

The only odd thing is if a '24 CW, I would have expected it to have the flywheel clutch.  Ditto if it were from an SW, the deluxe version of the belt-drive two-speed fitted with flywheel clutch (not sure which carb the SW might have had.)
